Submit a request concerning your personal data.

A data subject request is a submission to SCNET Bilişim to exercise rights concerning personal data under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698. Requests should include sufficient information to verify identity and locate the relevant data. Do not send passwords or sensitive documents that are not necessary for verification.

Types of request

Subject to current Turkish law, requests may concern confirmation and information about processing, purposes and recipients, correction, deletion or destruction, notification to recipients and other applicable rights.

Information required

Provide name, surname, signature or appropriate identity-verification information; Turkish identity number or suitable identification for non-citizens; address for notification; optional email or phone; the request and supporting information.

  • Identity of the requester
  • Contact and response preference
  • Relationship with SCNET and approximate period
  • Clear and specific request
  • Necessary and proportionate supporting documents

Review, response and security

On receipt, identity and scope are verified and additional information may be requested. The request is concluded within thirty days at the latest from the date it reaches us, generally without charge; where processing creates additional cost, the Board's tariff may apply. If further information is requested, the period continues from the date that information reaches us. Proportionate verification protects personal data from disclosure to another person.

Frequently asked questions

Is a request free of charge?

Requests are generally free. Where processing creates additional cost, a charge may apply under current law and the Board's tariff. The current legal text prevails.

Should I send a copy of my identity document?

That depends on the submission method and request. Do not send excessive data; if identification is needed, seek guidance on masking unrelated fields and using a secure transfer method.

Why might a request be refused?

A reasoned refusal may be issued where identity cannot be verified, another person's rights would be affected, legal retention prevents deletion or the request does not fall within an applicable right.

Can I submit a request in English?

An English request may be accepted, but formal processing and legal interpretation in Türkiye may take place in Turkish. A Turkish translation may be requested where necessary to understand identity or scope.
